In the Fiber Room

"She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands"
~ Proverbs 31:13

While the weather outside has been pretty frightful, all the activity in the fiber room has been pretty delightful.  There's always something going on.  Here's a glimpse of some of the things we've been up to.

  1. Oh my word - I am drooling over all of that gorgeous yarn! You have a knitter's dream world there. Imagine being immersed in all things wool!

  2. Oh my gosh, I am not a knitter, but that wool looks SCRUMPTIOUS!

  3. Gorgeous -- it must be so rewarding to see the finished product. Love the colors and the names you chose to describe them. :)

  4. How fascinating this is! Love these dyed wools! Do you shear the sheep in the winter. Visited a sheep farm in Wisconsin and was told that that was the time they did the shearing. A bit chilly

    1. We will shear a few weeks before the start of lambing... this year, probably the end of March or beginning of April. It's a lot easier to observe lambing progression or problems without all that wool on the sheep.

  5. Beautiful work. Wish you lived closer. I need to take some classes. Well, lots of classes.
