We had a beautiful snowfall over the weekend, very close to 2 feet, and of course drifts much higher. Luckily the wind died down on Sunday. We were a little worried about the spring lambs getting around, but the snow was pretty dry and fluffy and not too difficult to get around in. Everyone pretty much just plowed right through it.
That said, thank goodness for the ability to forget fairly quickly just how exhausting it is to haul hay and water around in 2 feet of snow. Hopefully we won't have another big snow before we break up the breeding groups. Then everyone will be closer to the barn.
